Guavas
1. In the reading selection: "Guava", Esmeralda Santiago does not buy the guava at the end, would you have done the same if you were in her situation, why or why not?
In one hand, I think that I would do the same that she did, because the guavas of the shop do not looks equal to the guavas of Puerto Rico. Maybe the sour do not is the same, and I just want remember it like was in my childhood. In the other hand, maybe I will buy it but, when I would go out of the market, I just start to bite it. Only because I will have a necessity to taste it again. Just because I really like it and I will never forget the guavas sour.
2. Talk about something that reminds you of your childhood in a positive way and why is it special and/or memorable to you.
In my childhood I remembered that I always played with my cousins. We played hide and seek, jump rope, baby dolls and other things. These memories will always be in my mind because today we are separated. My cousins and I most of the time we were together and we love us so much. Our family was suffered some problems and the familiar union was broken. In addition we are not in the age to be playing, but I hope that in some moment we return to being together.
